Police officer arrested for stabbing estranged wife

MINNEAPOLIS -- A Minneapolis police officer is in jail, accused of stabbing his estranged wife.

The 37-year-old was on duty Friday evening when St. Paul police came to arrest him for aggravated assault. He was taken to the Ramsey County Jail pending charges that could be filed Monday.
