Corrections Officer Arrested For Trying To Take Drugs Into Jail

CHILLICOTHE, Ohio -- A Ross Correctional Institution officer was arrested Friday afternoon after the Ohio State Highway Patrol said he tried to take drugs into the jail.

Troopers charged David A. Yingling, 27, of Chillicothe, with attempting to convey drugs onto the grounds of a detention facility, drug trafficking and possession of a drug of abuse.
