Taser incident costs assistant chief 3 days
EULESS - An assistant police chief was suspended Friday for three days without pay for accidentally zapping a city employee with a Taser earlier this month.
Assistant Police Chief Bob Freeman will probably serve the suspension next week, said Betsy Boyett, a city spokeswoman.
The suspension came Friday after the completion of an internal affairs investigation of the Feb. 2 incident at the Euless police detention center.
