Houston police DNA test found inaccurate

HOUSTON, Feb. 16 (UPI) -- An independent lab has determined DNA tests used to send a Houston man to prison for murder were inaccurate.

The case of Robert Lee Wallace is the second in which the DNA work of the Houston Police crime lab has been completely discredited, the Houston Chronicle reported Wednesday.

The DNA section of the Houston Crime lab was closed down two years ago when questions arose about testing.
