Chicago Police Officer Arrested For Counterfeiting CDs

CHICAGO -- A 10th District Chicago police officer was arrested Sunday for counterfeiting CDs.
The Chicago Police Department Internal Affairs Division arrested Neftalie Gonzalez with as many as 25,000 bad CDs at the Swap-O-Rama at 42nd and Ashland Streets.

Gonzalez has been charged with one count of official misconduct and two counts of illegal use of audio and visual recorded materials.

Gonzalez will be arraigned Monday morning.

A police officer since February 2000, Gonzalez, 40, has been relieved of his police powers.
