Fresno Police Officer Arrested
Officer Frank Dickinson was taken into custody over the weekend near an apartment complex at Cedar and Teague in northeast Fresno.
A neighbor called police after he heard a woman screaming and crying and the sound of something hitting a wall before an apartment window was shattered.
The police report states, "Dickinson proceeded to pick up a chair, which was placed aside the kitchen table, and threw the chair directly at the victim."
Frank Dickinson has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting corporal injury.
He posted a $45,000 bond and was released.
Dickinson is currently on paid leave from the police force.
