Police Officer Kills Mentally ill Man

MIAMI -- Three Miami-Dade County police officers struggled with a man whom relatives described as mentally ill before one of the officers shot and killed the man.

"I said `I got him! I got him! Don't shoot,' " said Mira Baker, his cousin, who said he was holding the victim when the officer shot him. "If they would have listened to me, he wouldn't be dead."
