County officer indicted

CAMERON COUNTY -- A grand jury indicted a county officer Thursday on two counts of official oppression. In short, prosecutors believe auto theft taskforce officer Pete Garza pulled over a woman to help a friend repossess her car.

Maria Guadalupe Redding allegedly owed money to the car's owner. Instead of filing a lawsuit, the owner asked Garza to pull her over and take the car.
