Patton Village officer indicted for official oppression

A former Patton Village Police officer is facing criminal charges after investigators say a traffic stop went too far.

Former Sgt. Jeffrey Glenn Speer, 32, of Houston, was indicted on two counts of official oppression in connection with the March 8 traffic stop.
