NEW YORK -- A Nassau County detective was arraigned Wednesday on charges he used a fictitious Social Security number from an undercover assignment to secure $60,000 in credit for a personal spending spree.

Rodolfo Barrio, 41, was charged with two counts of scheme to defraud, two counts of falsifying business records _ all felonies _ and four misdemeanor counts of official misconduct, Nassau County Assistant District Attorney Christine Sullivan said.
