Police State Targets, Tasers, Arrests and Jails Elementary School Children

The latest police state/child horror story that police tasered a distressed and out-of-control 6-year-old is sadly unsurprising. Why not? They've used tasers on the weak and the elderly, and police across the country remain loyal to their "non-lethal" weapons even after last week's taser death.

Of course we all know that the police state and its out-of-control thugs are targeting children at an accelerated rate, with children being arrested for fighting, and being given jail time for such egregious infractions as throwing a basketball at each other.

Click HERE for more instances of children being targeted and treated like criminals in today's police state.

Police Raid Wrong Home; Couple Sues

When Mont'sho Foluke awoke in the predawn darkness to the noise of a splintering door frame at his Jacksonville apartment, he ran to his living room where more than a dozen armed and yelling police officers were forcing their way inside.

Twenty minutes later, police realized they had gone to the wrong address in response to someone threatening to "kill himself with cocaine."

Police used Taser Gun to Subdue 6-year-old Student

Miami-Dade police tasered a 6-year-old boy who was wielding a piece of glass in a school office and threatening to hurt himself, officials confirmed Thursday.

Police say they followed their own guidelines and only tasered the child because they were afraid he would hurt himself. But the incident has raised calls for the department tighten its policies regarding the use of the stun guns, which shoot 50,000 volts of electric current through a subject.

50,000 Volts In Just 1 Second: Experience The Taser

PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh's police force, like many around the nation, has battled excessive force claims throughout the years.

By the end of the year, Pittsburgh expects to have 160 of its police officers armed with Tasers.

CPR Plea Ignored By Deputies

After deputies subdued a man with pepper spray, a Taser stun gun, handcuffs and physical restraints early Monday, they ignored his family's pleas to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation on him, the family claimed Tuesday.

Instead, despite warnings that Ricardo Zaragoza, 40, had stopped breathing, the five deputies waited a few minutes until paramedics arrived and had them remove his handcuffs, the dead man's brother said.

The police killed my son," said Arnulfo Zaragoza Sr., the man's father. "Excessive force, excessive. In my home."

Four of the five deputies involved were placed on one week's paid leave pending a psychiatric review, a routine measure after such incidents. Sheriff's officials refused to identify any of the deputies.

Tasers in Schools Trigger Disputes

PALATKA -- The first shock from the officer's Taser knocked Shakell Cox to the pavement at Jenkins Middle School. A busload of students watched as a second and then a third jolt hit the 12-year-old and she was handcuffed.

The officer zapped her with an M26 Taser -- a weapon growing popular with law enforcement on the streets and, more recently, in schools nationwide.
